Installation:
- Clean both pipe ends and the socket interiors with PVC primer.
- Apply PVC cement to one pipe end and one socket of the union.
- Insert the pipe into the socket, twisting slightly for even distribution.
- Repeat the process for the other pipe and socket.
- Ensure the O-ring is properly seated in the center ring groove.
- Align both halves of the union and hand-tighten the center ring.
- Use a strap wrench to tighten the center ring an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn, being careful not to overtighten.
- Allow proper curing time as per the cement manufacturer's instructions before pressurizing the system.
