The Hayward Skim-Vac Vacuum Plate (SP1106) is designed to simplify manual pool vacuuming by allowing a 1.5-inch vacuum hose to connect over the skimmer basket. Instead of removing the skimmer basket and collecting vacuumed debris in the pump strainer basket, the Skim-Vac allows the existing skimmer basket to remain in place.
Simply connect the appropriate vacuum hose to the SP1106 and position the Skim-Vac over the skimmer basket to begin vacuuming. The SP1106 measures 8" x 8" x 2" and is equipped with a rubber gasket to help provide the required seal during operation.
