Featuring a 15-foot lead and 10K ohm thermistor, the sensor can be used for air, water or solar temperature sensing depending on the control system and installation.
The 7790 is specified for use with compatible AquaLink RS controllers, Power Center printed circuit boards, solar control systems, Polaris EOS controllers and Sol 1000 systems. Proper sensor placement depends on whether it is being used to monitor water, ambient air or solar temperature.

Professional Installation Recommended
Installation should be completed in accordance with manufacturer instructions and all applicable local electrical, plumbing, bonding and building codes. For water sensing, the sensor is installed in the plumbing between the filter pump and filter using a 3/8" hole. For air sensing, mount the sensor outside the power centre away from direct sunlight and heat sources. For solar sensing, position the sensor adjacent to the solar panels. Installation by a qualified pool professional is recommended.
