Installation

1. Turn off the power source and water supply to the UV system.
2. Remove the old quartz sleeve carefully, following the manufacturer's instructions.
3. Clean the quartz sleeve chamber and inspect for any debris or obstructions.
4. Gently slide the new quartz sleeve into the chamber until it rests inside the center of the internal metal basket holder at the bottom of the unit.
5. Ensure only 8-12mm (5/16"-1/2") of glass is exposed. Caution: More than 12mm exposed can cause the quartz tube to break and void the warranty.
6. Install the O-ring and spring. Slide the O-ring onto the quartz sleeve until it butts up against the chamber. Insert the spring inside the quartz tube.
7. Hand-tighten the gland nut over the quartz sleeve onto the threaded top of the chamber. Do not overtighten or use tools.
8. Reconnect the power and water supply, then test the system for proper operation.
